A Cosy Cabin with Modern Comforts
Bearwood Cabin is the perfect size for two, offering a cosy and comfortable space to unwind. Thoughtfully designed with everything you need, it’s full of little touches to make your stay special. While it has plenty of countryside charm, you won’t be sacrificing comfort – modern amenities and a wood burner ensure you’ll feel right at home, whatever the weather.
The cabin has been fully refurbished for Summer 2026, with a brand-new kitchen featuring an induction hob and combination microwave/conventional oven, all new cookware and utensils, a new fridge-freezer, and a completely redesigned bathroom. Previously available only to private guests, we are now delighted to offer the cabin for booking via Airbnb – see our listing here.
Enjoy electric underfloor heating, snuggle up by the wood burner, and unwind under the gazebo on your private terrace with views across the surrounding farmland. The dedicated outdoor space, complete with chiminea, is perfect for morning coffee or evening stargazing.

But while we’ve welcomed some fascinating visitors, please don’t think we’re exclusive!
We love meeting new people and sharing the beauty of the Herefordshire countryside with all kinds of travellers, from ramblers and walkers to those just looking for a restful weekend away.
Privacy and Peace of Mind
At Bearwood Cabin, we want you to feel completely at home. You’ll have all the privacy you need to relax and enjoy your stay. With a private key box entry system, you can arrive any time after 3pm and let yourself in. However, we are also very happy to welcome you in person if you prefer.
We live at the other end of a long paddock, up a separate driveway, so if you’d rather not cross paths, that’s totally fine – you might not even know we’re here!
But if you do need anything, we’re only a phone call away, and always happy to help.

Kindling and firewood
Available to all visitors regardless of the time of year, for a small charge. Pre-packed kindling, firewood and firelighters can be used on either the wood burning stove or on the chiminea in the private garden. Perfect for stargazing or outdoor drinks.
On-site payment available by card/phone or cash.
Delicious local produce
We usually keep a selection of locally produced cheese, cured meats and fish, and a barbecue meat pack, plus a small selection of local drinks.
Local produce needs to be pre-booked at least 24 hours before arrival.

Borrow one of our bicycles
We have two basic bicycles available for the use of guests. Feel free to borrow them to explore the local lanes or for a leisurely trip to the village. Our teenage boys look after the bikes, and we request a voluntary donation to cover their maintenance, (the bikes, not the boys).
Please remember to bring your own cycle helmet!
